Jas Sehmbi, a designer since the 1970’s, designs simple bags with his main focus being on how people will carry the bag. His goal: to design a bag that worked for men. You can now find his stamp on Men’s fashion floating through the streets of London, Japan, and the US. Some say he is responsible for the outbreak of the “man-bag” or the “murse”. The bags are all handmade in London and remain a weightless construction. His multi-label serves womenswear, menswear, jewelry and footwear. While I don’t care for his long straps and odd shapes for his women’s line, I find the men’s bags very masculine and sexy. The bag pictured can be found at Doors@JasMB .com for £294.
