I realize my last several posts have all been bags with some sort of a bow involved. While I don’t consider myself the girly girl type, I am slowly realizing I lack any will power for a bag with a good bow. I will attempt in my future posts to mix it up. . . starting next week.

Johanna Boccardo, Executive Creative Director of Beautiful People, shares her latest family business with the fashion world. After illustrating children books and designing jewelry, she has taken her creative brilliance into the world of fine leather handbags. The bags are made of select Peruvian and Colombian leather and avoid being over the top. By steering clear of trendiness, Beautiful People is able to represent the Shakespearean names in which they are stamped. Pictured above and one of my favorites is the Lady Capulet bag. Boccardo represents women of the 21st century in an interesting way that exudes quality and timelessness. She states, “It is the brands attempt to share with the young and the young at heart women of the world.” She wants her bags to be carried by women who work hard and play even harder, and who wouldn’t want to be known for that?! Lady Capulet can be found at Beautifulpeople.com for $529.
