It’s a sad time for the fashion world as they’ve been robbed of one of the most innovative designers to date. British fashion designer Alexander McQueen was found dead in his London home on Thursday. Cause of death is still unknown, but police report that no foul play was at hand.
McQueen known for his sexy and distinct designs graced the red carpet and was coveted by many celebrities such as Sandra Bullock, Cameron Diaz, Madonna, and Lady Gaga. He was named British Fashion designer on four different occasions and was recognized by the Queen of England as Commander of the British Empire for his leadership role in the fashion world.
The very private designer was recently grieving over the death of his mother, a loss that was taking a huge toll on him. Our thoughts are with his family.
